My Journey

A Path Shaped by Insight, Depth and Development

I work with leaders who are navigating complexity, transition and growth, where leadership is no longer just about performance, but about how you think, regulate and move forward with clarity and purpose.

My career began in marketing strategy and insights, working across global brands and organisations to identify patterns, interpret data and support decision making in consumer environments. Over time, what became increasingly clear was that insight alone does not create change.

This is what led me into coaching.

Today, I bring the analytical depth of strategy together with evidence-based coaching, positive psychology and adult development to support leaders in building capacity for the next stage of their leadership.

My background allows me to work at both the strategic and human level, helping leaders make sense of complexity while also strengthening self trust, emotional regulation and decision making under pressure.

Clients often describe my coaching style as empathic, grounded and practical. I create a safe, non judgemental space where leaders can slow down, gain perspective and explore what truly matters. Through thoughtful questioning and reflection, we uncover fresh perspectives that build momentum, clarity and purposeful action.

I partner with leaders navigating role changes, global contexts, identity shifts and competing demands at work and at home. Together, we translate insight into action that feels aligned with who you are and how you want to lead.

I grew up in a coastal town just outside Cape Town, South Africa, where curiosity about people and perspective started early. After completing a postgraduate qualification in Media and Marketing Communications, I moved to Johannesburg and began my career in media strategy while studying toward a Marketing Management diploma.

During this time I met my partner, built a new home and started raising a family, all while working in lead strategy roles across global marketing clients. Working in strategy and consumer insights fuelled a deeper curiosity — not just what people do, but why they do it. Understanding behaviour, motivation and decision making became central to my work, and on reflection, that same lens now sits at the heart of my coaching.

Life and career opportunity then took us to Perth, Australia, where we continued as a family juggling professional and family roles while I contracted across agencies, before relocating again to Sydney. There I stepped into a Head of Insights role alongside further agency consulting, deepening my expertise in strategy, consumer insights and organisational dynamics across diverse industries and cultures.

Building on this foundation, I completed my Graduate Certificate in Applied Coaching, formalising my transition into coaching practice and grounding my approach in evidence based methodology.

Today, as a parent of teenagers and navigating family relationships across distance, midlife leadership is not just a professional interest but a lived experience. These layers of responsibility, identity and change continue to shape the grounded, human perspective I bring to my coaching practice, combining professional rigour with real life complexity.

I value learning, connection, and family, and I believe in growing while staying connected to the people and things that matter most. I love the richness that comes from different cultures and perspectives, and I’m committed to making progress—not just for myself, but in supporting others along the way. I also respect each person’s autonomy, encouraging people to act with self-awareness, confidence, and purpose in ways that feel true to their own values.

Coaching with me is practical, supportive, and collaborative. I guide and challenge you, but real change happens when you do the work—bringing curiosity, commitment, and action to the process. My role is to partner with you, helping you make sense of your experiences, try new ways of being, and turn insights into actions that feel right for you.

If you’re ready to embrace the next shift in your growth and build your capacity for complexity, let’s take that journey together.
